Ireland removes three-day abortion wait

It's a significant change for women's healthcare, removing a rule added to gain support for legalising abortion in 2018. The Dáil, Ireland's parliament, voted on Wednesday to end the mandatory three-day wait for medication during early pregnancy. The bill, sponsored by Sinn Féin, passed with 86 votes to 70 and now moves to a parliamentary committee.
