Iran strikes Kurdish bases in Iraq amid US arming talks
Iran's IRGC struck Kurdish Iranian opposition groups at their bases in northern Iraq with drones and missiles following the start of the US-Israeli campaign on 28 February. Groups including PAK, PDKI, and Komala reported attacks near Erbil. The strikes come as the CIA is in active discussions with Kurdish leaders in Iraq about providing military support, and Trump spoke by phone on Sunday with the heads of Iraq's two main Kurdish factions to discuss possible cooperation.
