NHS drug shortages worst on record
These are the most severe medicine shortages ever seen, affecting common painkillers, epilepsy drugs, and HRT. The National Pharmacy Association, a pharmacists' group, warns this poses a serious risk to patient safety, forcing some to ration medication. Drugs like Estradot and Creon have been in short supply for a record two years, with emergency protocols extended until 10 July.
