An uncommon portion of the Eiffel Tower's initial staircase was acquired for a price substantially higher than its anticipated value. Artcurial in Paris hosted an auction on Thursday, May 21st, where a 14-step spiral segment from the 1889 Eiffel Tower was sold. This section, standing 2.75 meters tall, was taken out in 1983 during the installation of lifts and was sold for 450,160 euros.
