Trump Launches $250 Million White House Ballroom Project, Demolition Begins on East Wing
Construction has commenced on a massive new ballroom in the White House’s East Wing, initiated by Donald Trump and privately funded at approximately $250 million. Demolition crews began tearing through the historic East Wing to make space to host up to 999 guests. Trump says the cost will be met by himself and private donors, with no taxpayer funding, and the venue is slated for completion before the end of his term in 2029.
