7.4 earthquake hits Indonesia, one person dies
A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia's Molucca Sea at 06:48 local time on Thursday, prompting tsunami alerts for several coastal areas. One person died after a building collapsed in Manado, North Sulawesi. The victim was a 70-year-old woman buried under rubble. Buildings were damaged across the city. Authorities later lifted the tsunami warning.
