Britain’s solar breaks records as biggest farm approved

Lower energy bills and greater stability are expected for households as Britain's solar power output reached new highs. The country set two new solar generation records this week, peaking at 14.4 gigawatts on Tuesday, with ministers also backing the Springwell solar farm. This largest UK solar farm in Lincolnshire could power 180,000 homes annually.
