Trump Pauses Iran Strikes For Five Days

Energy markets and global stocks moved sharply after a sudden shift in tone from Washington. President Trump ordered the US military to hold off on attacking Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for five days, saying the two countries had held productive discussions about ending the conflict. On Saturday he’d threatened to destroy those same sites by Monday night if Iran didn’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
