Hollywood studios tell ByteDance to stop Seedance 2.0
The Motion Picture Association has ordered ByteDance to halt operations of its Seedance 2.0 generator immediately due to copyright concerns. Users created viral content that either envisioned *Friends* characters as otters or showed a fight scene between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. While ByteDance describes the tool as being in a limited testing phase, the BBC reports they have suspended uploads of real people to address infringement risks.
