China turns to North Africa for oil

Higher fuel risks could hit prices and supplies for many people as fighting near Iran disrupts a key shipping route. China is speeding up energy and factory plans in North Africa after the Strait of Hormuz closed during the war in Iran. Algeria has a US$437 million naphtha unit at Arzew refinery with Sinopec and Sonatrach.
