Millions more children get e-gate access from July

Families will get faster border checks from 8 July, helping make summer home trips easier. The Home Office announced children aged eight and nine can now use e-gates at UK airports and other entry points. This change lowers the minimum age from ten, potentially including up to 1.5 million additional children at over 290 e-gates.
