Huge crowds mourn Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran
Thousands of black-clad mourners gathered at Tehran's main mosque on Saturday for the first day of funeral ceremonies for Iran's former supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Authorities expect up to 30 million people to attend the six-day events across Iran and Iraq, which are meant to show national unity. Khamenei died in February, following attacks by the US and Israel, and many mourners chanted slogans against the US.
