Barclays buys GoHenry from Acorns for UK
Young people and families could see more banking options aimed at children as a major lender expands its reach in this market. Barclays agreed on Friday to acquire GoHenry’s UK operation from Acorns for an undisclosed sum, with completion expected next year while the brand keeps its name. Around 500,000 UK children use GoHenry accounts, and the company has more than 2 million customers across five countries.
