UAE Plant Attack Sends Oil Above $111

Higher fuel costs may follow as fears grow over oil supplies near the Strait of Hormuz. Brent crude rose above $111 a barrel following a drone strike that hit the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, amid ongoing tensions between the US and Iran. US crude also reached $108.70, its highest level since April 30.
