Meta trained AI on staff then sacked thousands - Hear leaked Audio
Leaked audio from an April 30 Meta all-hands meeting shows Mark Zuckerberg telling staff the company's AI is learning from watching its best workers do their jobs. The recording, released by More Perfect Union on Tuesday, dropped one day before about 8,000 Meta employees received layoff notices starting at 4am Singapore time. Another 7,000 workers are being reassigned to new AI-focused teams.
