UK regulator probes Air India after Boeing 787 fault.

The UK’s aviation regulator is seeking answers from Air India after a Boeing 787 Dreamliner departed Heathrow while affected by a technical issue. During pre-flight procedures, pilots reported repeated problems with a fuel control switch failing to secure correctly before eventually settling. The Civil Aviation Authority has asked the airline to carry out a detailed investigation into the fault and cautioned that regulatory action could follow if safety standards and aircraft reliability are not adequately assured.
