Iran targets Dubai airport, ships, sparking global oil fears
Governments worldwide fear economic trouble from rising oil prices, potentially upsetting many voters. On Wednesday, Iran escalated attacks on civilian infrastructure, striking three merchant ships and targeting Dubai’s international airport, amidst ongoing US and Israeli strikes on Iran. Over 1,300 Iranian civilians have been killed since the joint offensive began on 28 February.
