New daily pill prevents weight regain after obesity jabs

People who stop taking weight-loss injections typically regain much of their lost weight. A study of 376 participants found those taking daily orforglipron pills kept over 70% of their weight loss, compared to 38-50% for those on dummy pills. The medication costs around $149 monthly in the US, significantly less than injectable alternatives.
