UK Warned to Cut Defence Reliance on US
A UK parliamentary report published Friday warns the government to reduce its defence reliance on the United States. Parliament's Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy said Trump's recent comments revealed "demonstrable areas of tension" that could compromise UK security. The committee urged the government to prepare for a worst-case scenario where Europe can no longer depend on US crisis support.
