Hundreds of acts still waiting for festival pay.
Many working artists who performed at a major UK event are experiencing financial difficulties. Despite over 500 performers participating in The Leicester Comedy Festival, which took place from February 4 to 22, its organizers did not issue payments because of financial troubles. Performers were told their settlement would be delayed from 19 April, with Ben Alborough owed nearly £2,000.
