OECD Cuts UK Growth Forecast From 1.2% to 0.7%

Britain could be among the hardest hit economies in the G7 this year, according to the latest global outlook. The OECD downgraded its UK growth forecast to just 0.7%, citing disruption from the Strait of Hormuz and rising energy prices. The projections assume the energy crisis is temporary and eases from the middle of the year.
