Six Engines Deployed as Historic Leek Mill Catches Fire
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service sent six engines to a major blaze at The Big Mill, a Grade II listed historic building in Leek, at 21:22 GMT on Friday. Residents were warned to shut windows and avoid the area. By Saturday, flames were largely out, but crews remained on scene tackling hotspots. The fire service received 118 calls.
