60 firefighters tackle Oldbury factory fire
Locals in Oldbury are told to keep windows and doors shut due to a factory fire, which is producing thick, black smoke. Many nearby people reported smelling burning plastic. West Midlands Fire Service got the call around 5.30am, sending 60 firefighters and ten crews to Rood End Road. The blaze involves an entire single-storey industrial unit, measuring 40m by 30m.
