Raine partner says rugby needs one league, not 5-6.
Fans and clubs could see a clearer path for growth if one competition gains enough size to lead the professional game. Speaking to City AM, Raine Group partner Jason Schretter said rugby cannot support five or six major leagues and argued a leading competition should take charge. He said people may hear notable developments from England's Premiership within the next couple of months.
