ElBaradei calls Trump madman over Iran threat
Fears are growing that tensions could spiral into wider conflict across the region. Former IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei urged Gulf governments to act after Donald Trump warned “time is running out” for Iran to reach a deal. ElBaradei, who led the agency from 1997 to 2009, also appealed to the United Nations, China, Russia and Emmanuel Macron to intervene.
