Nissan cutting 900 European jobs, merging UK lines
Hundreds of Nissan employees across Europe will lose their jobs as the carmaker simplifies its business. Nissan plans to cut 900 roles in Europe and will merge two production lines into one at its Sunderland plant in the UK. These European job cuts represent about 10% of its workforce across Europe.
