Sacked Sniffer Dog Helps Owner Through Cancer Treatment
Jack, a cocker spaniel, was fired from the police force for being too friendly. He found a new home with Jan Grace and her family. A year later, Jan was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy. Jack provided comfort and companionship during her treatment, accompanying her on walks when she felt well enough. He offered unconditional love and a sense of structure during a difficult time. Losing a pet can be a very difficult experience.
