40% UK firms hit by cyber attacks, 612,000 affected.
Businesses face ongoing digital risks as attacks remain widespread across the country. A UK government survey for 2025/26 found more than 40% of companies suffered a cyber breach or attack over the past year, unchanged from the previous period. Around 612,000 firms were affected, showing threats remain significant despite efforts to improve online security.
