Protesters Arrested After Breaching Prison Grounds for Activist
Several protesters were arrested at Wormwood Scrubs prison for aggravated trespass after breaching the grounds. The demonstrators were supporting Umer Khalid, a Palestine Action-linked activist who is accused of damaging aircraft at RAF Brize Norton and is currently on a thirst strike. The protesters allegedly blocked staff and threatened police, with some entering a staff area. Separately, Greta Thunberg was arrested in December 2025 during a protest supporting Palestine Action hunger strikers.
