Spain Belgium pledge €2 billion Ukraine aid
It boosts Ukraine’s ability to defend its skies and front lines. Spain and Belgium agreed after defence talks to provide a combined 2 billion euros in military support, focusing on air defence, drones and long-range artillery. Belgium’s package for 2026 includes F-16 jets and spare parts, while both sides also discussed joint drone development and backing a Czech-led artillery supply plan.
