Mahmood Fights to Uphold Palestine Action Terrorism Ban
Palestinian rights campaigners say a "culture of fear" has taken hold due to the Palestine Action ban. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is appealing a February High Court ruling which found the ban disproportionately limited free speech and assembly. The ban has led to more than 2,700 arrests for showing support, with their futures now depending on the appeal's outcome.
