Sources report early progress on Lebanon ceasefire and frozen Iranian assets

Sources close to the mediation told Al Jazeera that early progress has been made on basic conditions including the need for a ceasefire in Lebanon. There are also signs of potential movement on unfreezing Iranian assets held abroad. However, the broadcaster cautioned that it remains early in the process and that much of the reported progress still needs to be confirmed by both delegations.
