Apple holds talks with Intel Samsung on chips
Efforts to secure chip supply could affect production of devices such as iPhones and Macs. Apple has held early discussions with Intel and Samsung about making its main processors in the United States, according to a Bloomberg report published on 4 May 2026. Executives visited a Samsung site in Texas and spoke with Intel, but no orders have been agreed.
