Energy bosses warn of long-term shift after Iran war
The global energy system will see fundamental structural change as a result of the Iran war, oil and gas chief executives told investors on earnings calls over the past two weeks. Baker Hughes boss Lorenzo Simonelli said governments and industry would now prioritise energy security and supply diversity. Exxon Mobil CEO Darren Woods said countries would reassess how to ensure they do not have the same exposure again.
