TSMC sales jump 68% in June, beating expectations
Taiwan's TSMC, the world's biggest contract chipmaker, saw its June sales rise by 67.9% compared to last year, ahead of its second-quarter earnings report this week. TSMC's strong performance, which analysts called "quite robust," comes even though June revenue has typically fallen month-over-month in recent years. The company is reportedly on track to generate more than $40 billion from AI chip sales this year, which constitutes approximately 25% of its overall revenue.
