Modified diet extends healthy lifespan in mice
Scientists found adding a precise amount of one amino acid to a low-protein, plant-based diet made mice healthier for longer. This 'longevity diet' dramatically cut frailty and fat in older mice, even when they ate more calories than other groups. Early human data also showed similar benefits to health and metabolism.
