UK eyes deploying 1,000s of 'Octopus' anti-drone systems to Middle East against Iran
British forces and partners in the Middle East could soon see strengthened defences against continuous drone attacks. Ministry of Defence officials are considering deploying thousands of UK-manufactured "Octopus" interceptor drones to the region. These anti-drone systems, developed by Ukrainian engineers, cost $3,000 each, with production ramping up to thousands every month.
