John Healey says Starmer's defence plan won't keep Britain safe
Britain's future defence funding could face uncertainty because part of a £15 billion package still hasn't been funded and will be decided after a new prime minister takes office. Sir Keir Starmer's government published its Defence Investment Plan on Tuesday. John Healey said spending should reach 3% of GDP, while £4.7 billion of the package will be settled at Budget 2026.
