Venezuela, US scrutinize 19 oil deals from sanctions era
Venezuela’s oil ministry has paused 19 production-sharing agreements struck under President Nicolás Maduro, sources say, with no immediate impact on crude and gas output. State-owned PDVSA continues selling oil from these projects while Caracas and Washington jointly scrutinise the contracts and the firms behind them, some signed during US sanctions.
