FTSE 100 falls ahead of Bank of England rates call

Britain's main stock market index fell by as much as 1% as traders expect the Bank of England to raise borrowing costs. The Bank will announce its latest interest rate decision at midday, with most experts thinking they'll hold steady at 3.75%. However, traders are now betting rates will hit 4% by November, partly due to strong UK jobs figures.
