US consumer prices jump to 3.3% in March
People in the US are seeing higher prices, with inflation accelerating to its fastest rate in almost two years. Consumer prices climbed 3.3% in the 12 months to March, picking up from 2.4% in February, the Labor Department said. This increase was largely driven by a 21.2% rise in gas prices from February to March.
