Badenoch says Starmer dropped benefits changes plan
Sir Keir Starmer has halted his welfare reform proposals, a decision made as costs have increased by nearly £20 billion over the past two years. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch accused the Prime Minister of giving up after he U-turned on benefit changes last June. She quoted Labour's Pat McFadden saying MPs only discuss taxing people to pay more benefits.
