Denmark tells US to leave Greenland alone
Following the capture of Venezuelan President Maduro by US military forces, President Trump stated in an Atlantic interview on Sunday that the US 'needs' Greenland for defense purposes. Katie Miller then posted an image of Greenland covered by the US flag. Mette Frederiksen, the Danish Prime Minister, responded by saying the US has no basis to take control of the Danish territory. She cautioned against threatening a long-standing NATO ally, according to reports.
