45-year-old man charged after woman's death

Metropolitan Police have charged Seyhan Assaf, 45, with manslaughter and coercive or controlling behaviour. The charges follow the March 2020 death of Gillian Morand, 36, after an inquest found she took her own life. Police stated he is accused of long-term abuse against Ms Morand, which helped cause her death. Mr Assaf is scheduled to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
