Rory McIlroy wins second consecutive Masters to make history at Augusta
Rory McIlroy won the 2026 Masters on Sunday to become the first player since Tiger Woods in 2002 to win back-to-back titles at Augusta National. The Northern Irishman overcame a dramatic collapse in the third round that saw his six-shot lead vanish, battling back against Cameron Young in the final round. It is McIlroy's sixth major championship and second successive green jacket.
