2 students dead, 11 seriously ill as invasive meningitis sweeps University of Kent
Two student deaths are causing widespread concern across the University of Kent, following an outbreak of invasive meningitis. Another 11 individuals from the Canterbury area are hospitalised and reported as seriously ill after the disease spread. The UK Health Security Agency contacts over 30,000 staff and families, also providing preventative antibiotics to some students.
