Jailed hacker suggests GTA 6 source code is out

Leaks of a game’s core development files can seriously disrupt production, sometimes forcing studios to delay a release indefinitely. Arion Kurtaj, the hacker tied to the massive 2022 leak of Grand Theft Auto VI, is reportedly spreading fresh rumours after allegedly getting hold of a phone while in custody. Kurtaj was previously linked to the cybercrime group Lapsus$, which gained notoriety for breaching major companies, including the GTA developer, using surprisingly simple tools like a smartphone.
