UK France plan talks on Hormuz naval mission

Global shipping and oil supply could improve if safe passage is restored. Britain and France will co-host talks this week on a possible defensive multinational naval mission to protect traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. President Emmanuel Macron said the plan would be separate from fighting, while the route carries about one fifth of global oil and has been shut by Iran.
