Secrets of Superagers: How Some People Stay Young Longer

Lajuana Weathers, an 89-year-old Illinois resident, is part of the SuperAging Research Initiative at the University of Chicago. To qualify as a superager, individuals must be over 80 with memory performance comparable to those 50-60 years old. Lajuana starts her day with celery juice, increases her step count, and meditates daily. The average life expectancy in the UK is 79.1 years for men and 83 for women, but superagers defy these averages.
