Everton players start pre-season today with three new signings joining
1. Pre-season training has commenced at Finch Farm today, with the initial group of Everton footballers, comprising recent acquisitions Merlin Rohl, Tyrique George, and Hayden Hackney, undergoing testing. Rohl's loan from Freiburg is now permanent on a three-year deal, and George has completed a permanent move from Chelsea. Hackney also arrived from Middlesbrough to strengthen the midfield, with the team's first game on August 22 against Crystal Palace.
